Pip was created by Ktboop
Hi I'm currently receiving low rate daily living. My mental health has deteriorated (been suffering for years but not what my pip award is for) my work has been affected and can see me having to resign.ive cut down on my hours of work to the bare minimum so I can still claim my working tax credits. My dilemma is I've heard horror stories of people losing their current award while adding to their current claim. I'm so stressed thinking after I've given my job up this could happen to me. I'm at my wits end on what to do for the best. Any advice would be appreciated so much. Thanks

Hi Ktboop

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

Your current claim will only stop once a decision has been made. so before you contact DWP for a change of circumstances you need to check our latest guide, I would also recommend that you take the PIP self test; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-indep...nt-pip/pip-self-test and have a read of our latest guide; benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

Remember unless you fit the criteria you may not get any additional points.
