I have 80? pounds comcerning deression for many years. Now i AM NEARLY 70 years of age., I have been diagnosed with a lot of probllems in my spine. This has resulted in my not being able to walk very far without a pushair that allows me to sit down often/. Would I be allowed amy disablitty for me condition. I lie in my bed all day, and my husband attends to all my needs, nut he does not claim anything, Can someone plese plese halp me

If you don't have a current award for PIP, I'm afraid as you are over the state pension age you are unable to claim it.

You can put in for Attendance Allowance which is for people with disabilities. There is no specific mobility component to Attendance Allowance. You can find information benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/dla and further information here benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/aa.
