Tribunal services mail was created by Perdita
If doing an appeal for PIP,when paperwork/documents need to go to and fro between claimant and tribunal services, does this have to be done through the normal Royal Mail postal system? I mean, can email be used for sending and receiving documents between the claimant and the tribunal services? Can the entire appeal be done remotely through the internet? All stages?

Hi Perdita
The entire appeal process can be carried out online; www.gov.uk/appeal-benefit-decision/submit-appeal
You will need to have your Mandatory Reconsideration letter with you when you do an online appeal as you will be asked for information on the MR letter.
If you send any letter to HMCTS, I would recommend that you send any letters by recorded delivery.
As stated in your previous post, if you have any queries contact HMCTS, they are very helpful.

Thank you, but I can't get out to post letters by recorded delivery, hence I wouldn't be able to send letters recorded delivery or even get to a post box.. That is why I asked about email

Hi Perdita
I would contact HMCTS on 0300 123 1142, they will be able to reassure you and explain what you will need to do.
