I received PIP award letter dated 16th December 2022. Letter said that I am likely to be due backdated payment to when they received my review form which was June 2022.
To date I haven't received this yet and when I phoned helpline a few weeks ago they were quite vague with when I would receive it.
Do you have any info on these sort of timescales etc ?
Did the Decision Letter say what the Effective Date of the Decision was?
If it was June 2022 then there should be backdating and you should have heard about it by now, contact the DWP for an update.
If there is no Effective Date then the Decision applies from the Date of the Letter and there will be no backdating. You should still contact the DWP as the letter , from your post, does refer to backdated money.
