Hi I have just been awarded LCW and my question is my UC award is nearly £400 a month to top up my SSP, what happens when my SSP ends after 28 weeks, does UC make up the shortfall. Many thanks Sara
I would expect your SSP to be deducted from your current UC payment, when it ceases, assuming there is no further Sick Pay by your employer, then the deduction will cease and your UC will increase to make up for the lost SSP.
