Hi all, I received a letter on Fri 17th saying "We now have enough information to make a decision and will inform you soon." Why? Why waste the time, energy, paper and postage? Up to this point l have been receiving texts about ongoing stuff. The DWP and post drives me bonkers! My pa4 took 13 days to arrive from request date but this useless letter took 3. Since they say they always use 2nd class post - why such variations? Do the rest of you get notifications in different ways? In 2023 surely none urgent stuff like this would be more effecient & economical by text wherever possible?
I understand your frustration. I can't tell you why there are such variations in delivery dates - I'm afraid it is just the system. The texting system is not always available, and notifications do vary. What feels like non-urgent to you may not be to another claimant. The system is far from satisfactory, but unfortunately, I can't see it changing soon.
