PIP telephone assessment and text from DWP was created by Mason
Hello,
Just looking for reassurance really. I had my PIP review telephone assessment today. It went OK I think but I did have a few moments where I realised I should have clarified more. I've already had a text from DWP saying they've recieved the health professionals report. Now I'm really anxious it was that quick because I didn't score any points! Does any one else have any experience of this? Also do I still have to wait 48 hrs to get report or as I know DWP have it can I ask earlier?
Many thanks

Hi Mason
It's up to you. As you have received the text saying the DWP has the report, I don't see why you can't ask for a copy now.
I wouldn't read anything into it being done so quickly. You have no idea what else the assessor has on their plate. They may just be very organised or not have other assessments to carry out.

Thanks BIS - I'll give them a call. It feels a bt like coming out of a job interview - keep thinking what I should have/shouldn't have said!! But you're right I shouldn't read too much into the speed - she did call three minutes early so obviously organised!

Hi, I got text same day as my telephone assessment too saying the report had been received. I rang up after 2 days to request it, (didn't have the energy to do it day after assessment) was told it would take 7-10 days to receive. It arrived 3 days later! It was same as previous award but should have been higher this time as things have deteriorated. Hope yours is what it should be.

Thanks @pixiegirl, it is reassuring to know that speed doesn't necessarily mean the worst. I've requested the report so fingers crossed it comes through soon.
