Contribution based ESA and part time postgraduate study

I currently claim contribution based ESA and am in the support group. I also claim universal credit though we hardly receive anything (less than £60 a month) as I am married and my husband works FT. We have three children (13f and twins 4m, 4m). I also receive PIP daily living allowance for ADHD and PTSD and suspected ASD.

I used to be a secondary school teacher until I caught covid at work pre vaccines. Since I have not been able to work due to fatigue, muscle weakness, migraines, Functional Neurological Disorder and Long covid.

I do not feel well enough to work even part time at the moment and I know I will likely never return to teaching, but I would like to study a part time distance learning postgraduate master course via the open university. I hope that one day in the distant future that I might be able to work in a different career.

I know that I can claim the postgraduate loan which will cover my tuition fees with about £4k left over (over the two years).

Will I still be able to claim my contribution based ESA? Will I have to have another assessment or might I be moved to the work group? I would not attempt this course if it were in person.

Thank you in advance.

Your Contribution Based ESA will not be affected by the loan but I would expect your UC to be.
