my son has many mental health needs plus physical issues,im his appointee,he lived with me his whole life but needed to go stay with his dad for a while as i needed to foster my nephew,he then moved into a house with 2 friends as his dad did not want him there then his dad told pip before i got the chance to,my sons main address is mine and he stays here 4 nights a week, however recently i asked pip to look at a descriptor following the supreme court decision of 2020 and i wrote to them to see if he was entitled to 2 more points on engaging with others, they refused it anyway so i wrote to them to explain the points they based it on.
today i recieved a letter saying we now have the information we need to decide if we can offer you pip.
theres 2 years left on his current award what is going on? what am i going to do are they going to take it off him im so upset would this letter be due to the change of address or the fact that i wrote back following them not increasing his award?
I'm sorry that you find yourself in this position. You need to contact the DWP. I can't tell you what the letter means or why they have written it now. The DWP are the only people who can provide the answers, and I know it's stressful, but you need to try and contact them asap for an explanation.
