I would be greatful for any advice regarding my circumstances. So my daughter, who is in the modeling industry returned home last June as her job requires she moves about a lot, so she's here as a base but she is mostly away working all over UK and Europe. Sounds much more glamorous than the reality of it, and it isn't well paid.
I told ESA and they took away my disability premium.
I used the premium to pay my neighbour and my sister to help me around the house and with shopping ect.
Since she is away more than here is there anyway I can reclaim it as I still pay for help ect but my daughter is no help at all.

Thank you for reading

Hi pam66

There are two sets of requirements for the Severe Disability Premium.

First, to be eligible for the Premium, you need to be receiving a qualifying benefit such as the PIP Daily award that you have just received (there are others) you lived alone or were considered to be living alone and no one receives Carers Allowance against your PIP award or as a couple you can qualify if both you and your partner get a qualifying benefit (PIP daily living).

Secondly, to be entitled to payment of the Premium you need to be receiving an Income Related benefit such as ESA(IR), Income Support or Pension Credit but not Universal Credit.

You say that your daughter returned home, but is mostly working all over UK and Europe, one of the questions to ask is how often is your daughter living at home, does she use your address as a postal address?

If your daughter is mostly away from home, why did you inform ESA she was living at home? I would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk

As she was living here around 3 days then away 2 weeks, back a weekend away 10 days and so on. She registered her car and voting at my address as she moves around so much I thought it best to tell then.
