Hoping someone can help as i’m really not sure what to do.
I’ve been claiming income related ESA since last September as i’ve been off work with a back condition. I’ve been on no pay from my job since October but still technically employed. Not entitled to Adult disability payment, but i am entitled to enhanced mobility payment.
I’m now being terminated from my post on ill health grounds, and will be given 12 weeks pay as notice, and it will be paid monthly starting this month.
I’m still not able to work, and had a bit of a time applying for ESA, and was turned down and eventually got it on appeal.
Really not sure what i should be doing about notifying DWP about being terminated and being given 3 months pay. Do they stop ESA and restart it? Do i need to go through all of the application process again?
Really hope someone can advise what i should say to DWP when i phone, as it’s stressing me out at a time when i could do without it!
Your question is outside the remit of the forum, you need to seek advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation who will be able to take all your circumstances into consideration; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
