Referencing Regulation's on you PIP 2 form was created by Ferret Whisperer
Is it really worth ??? Referencing Reg 4 and Reg 7 on a PIP 2 form as a reminder
Or should you wait until an MR/Tribunal before getting the weapons out.

Hi Ferret Whisperer,
It rather depends on the context. However, I do think it is important to stress if you can not do an activity safely, repeatedly, in acceptable manner or in a reasonable time, as these terms help explain the way you can't do the activities, and why you should get points. No need to actually cite the actual regulations and quote them.
Whilst there is no guarantee that DWP will accept what you say on a claim form, it is clear that if you fail to mention things you certainly won't get points!
Regulation 7 is important as it reminds DWP to award not just 2 points for aid/appliance. It does sometimes work!
I would loosely refer to the regulations, s suggested above on the claim form, and then complain/argue DWP has failed to apply them, if you then have to appeal to the tribunal! I would go into more detail for the tribunal, quote the regulations, and quote relevant caselaw as need be.
I hope this helps.
