Moving around was created by Anne
Due to bilateral CRPS in both hands and arms I am in constant pain. I have no mechanical difficulty with walking however, exercise causes my vascular system to pump blood around my body and in particular into my arms and hands which is extremely painful due to the CRPS. This is what limits my ability to walk.
For at least 4 days out of 7 I don't leave the house because I have had to use my hands to do some daily living activities (like trying to open some mail and then maybe try to sort it out or put some washing in the machine), which increases my pain and fatigue levels meaning I cannot do any walking other than a minimal amount inside the house
On the 5th day if I have done no daily living activities the day before and I walk 100 meters but after about 30 meters I am in severe discomfort but choose to keep on walking because sometimes it doesn't really help to stop walking and my objective is to get back to my car and home as quickly as possible where I can then relax for the rest of the day on my bed and the following day. Would this mean I can walk 100 meters because I didn't actually stop after 30 m? Sometimes I will stop and sometimes it helps a little but other times it doesn't?
Thanks
Anne

The test is how far you can "reliably" walk on the majority of days, however, I have to warn you that I think you may struggle using the pain in your hands and arms to limit the distance that you can walk, those assessing you often show a lack of imagination as to how claimants can be affected by their conditions.
I think you will need to go into great detail as to how this symptom leads to restrictions on how far you can walk, pay attention to the distances set in the PIP Descriptors and any variance that you have on a day-by-day basis, large changes in the distance you can walk each day can undermine your arguments.
Lastly, you mention activities that can exacerbate the pain you need to stay in context to the Descriptors, including the Daily Living ones, opening mail and loading a washing machine, are unlikely to help you score.
