The panel should have written to you explaining what additional evidence they require, usually, it is the last five years of your medical records.
If it is unclear, contact the Clerk of the Court at the Tribunal venue for more information.

Hello it says the following
ADJOURNMENT NOTICE
1. The appeal is adjourned for a video hearing. It will be re-scheduled on the first
available date with a time estimate of a standard time slot.
2. Whilst Mr Milson had requested that his appeal be determined without a hearing,
it may assist the Tribunal to be able to speak to him concerning the extent that his
health conditions limited his functioning at the time of the decision. Mr Milson has
been able to take part in video appointments and it was fair and just to allow him a
further opportunity to speak to the Tribunal in this way, particularly in light of his
background and the fact that he does not appear to have had assistance in
submitting his claim.
3. Members of this tribunal are excluded from future involvement in the appeal.

This has nothing to do with the panel wanting to know more about your health conditions per see.
The panel is saying that they believe it would be to your advantage if you participated in an interactive hearing such as a video call.
You do have to do this, you can write and say you still want the Decision decided on the papers but you should think carefully before doing this.
This request is usually made where the evidence provided suggests limitations but does not confirm them, being able to question you about your problems may allow them to make a more positive Decision.

Hi Mark0390
From what is written, it sounds as if they think they will find it easier to come to a decision by a panel being able to speak to you - and that's why they have adjourned. It implies that you should be given that chance. It may mean they feel there isn't enough evidence from what you submitted.
However, that is conjecture on my part, and you should do as Gordon suggests and contact the Clark of the Court Tribunal. That would give you the opportunity to find out exactly what it means and what will happen if you decline to attend and ask them to go ahead with a paper-based decision. Then you can decide what you will do moving forward.
