I have sent off my UC50 form and i have a Mandatory appointment next week at the Job Centre with my work coach , do i have to attend even though i have sent FitNotes and filled in the UC50 form. I have Depression and Anxiety and Migraines and it causes me so much anxiety/stress getting there, i also have to have someone with me as i unable to leave the house on my own.
Your Fit Note excuses you from seeking work, you still need to participate in what is called Work Related Activity.
You can try contacting your work coach to ask if there is any specific reason that it has to be held at their offices and if not, could it be held over the phone?
