Severely autistic child was created by Brenda
Hi im looking for some guidance. A child who is diagnosed as severely autistic. Gets high care low mobility. What do I need to prove to get the low mobility increased to high mobility. Thanks in advance for any help.

First of all your forum name appears to be your real name, if this is the case then I advise you to change this as soon as you can. See

Medium and Higher Rate DLA Mobility are awarded for different reasons, so your child may not qualify for HRM at all.

HRM is awarded when the claimant is unable to walk or is considered to be virtually unable to walk, there are other reasons such as blindness but they are all physically related.

You need page 59 on this publication. You have to be able to evidence that your child meets each criteria assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/governm.../1150379/dmgch61.pdf
