Hi all got the money backdated to October 4th which is when I put in for change in circumstances
Had video call 17th May 2023 received decision placed in the support group from wrag received the report DM in my favour the question is do I let pip know and will my pip change as well I e backdated to October 4th or will I have an assessment pip my award for pip is due to end May 2025 many thanks your all amazing !!!!!

Congratulations on your award following your change of circumstances request and being placed in the support group.
Did you put in for a change of circumstances to your PIP at the same time? Even if you did so, the PIP team will decide what type of assessment they will do and, subsequent to that, whether you receive an improved backdated award. If you didn't put in a letter to PIP telling them about a change of circumstances, then a normal review will take place, and any award won't be backdated.

I thought that esa would inform pip the DM did say they would be notified due to this decision if that's not the case then I will phone them in the morning to let them know thanks for your reply bis

Do not assume anything, they are different departments, one would hope that they do share data but to be on the safe side contact PIP by phone then send a letter about was was discussed/agreed by recorded delivery.

Hi garry phoned pip this morning said they would be sending ar1 form iexplained that appliied for change of circumstances on esa last October but said they would take it from today's date said to resend all evidence with the form along with medical report so the waiting begins will keep you updated the guides on here are brilliant will use them and the pip training it's invaluable thanks for your reply you are all amazing!!!!!!
