Hi Ray
It's impossible to give you an accurate time frame. The DWP are saying about 15 weeks from the time they receive the form, but plenty of members have been waiting six months or more and some more than a year. There are some people who get a quicker response time, (less than 15) but they seem to be in the minority.

I returned my Review form plus supporting evidence etc… in early Jan this year. I have today had a text giving me an appointment for assessment in 2 weeks time.
I missed a call today from PIP and then got the text both timed in the same minute.
I have no idea what the call was for as no message was left.

Returned my form in February 2023 and have yet to get a decision (though I think one might come soon). Someone I know got his review decision (and a paper-based assessment) within a month of returning the form. It really is impossible to predict.

I was of the understanding that they were prioritising new claims over reviews,
New Claims, aiming for decisions within 16 weeks
Reviews - how long is a piece of string? .................... for information;
returned daughters Review form in Feb '23,
original assessment Jan '24, cancelled by Capita
rescheduled for Feb '24,
PA4 received by DWP 22nd February '24
Rang DWP this morning, was assigned to a case worker/Decision Maker on 22nd Feb but still in queue to be actioned.
Hopefully this may help you to get an idea of timescales
