P60U - can someone explain ? was created by headabovethewater
Apologies for the ignorance, I'm on new style esa support group.
Today I have received a P60u from BA/dss
I really don't understand what it means? Is this a yearly thing I file or does it mean the esa has stopped? It lists benefit rate for current claim year to Apr 5th. £0 tax deducted and a tax code.
Any help greatly appreciated many thanks

New Style ESA is liable to tax, but that does not mean that you will pay more tax or indeed any as a result, that will depend on your personal circumstances.
The P60 is simply your annual tax statement, you need to file it and retain the form for at least seven years.
