Support Group and PIP outcomes was created by Sheila Power

I’ve just been awarded new style ESA and put in support group. I have been advised to apply for PIP and have submitted an application. I was wondering if being in support has any bearing on a successful claim. Many thanks

Hi Dotty

The descriptors are different between PIP and WCA although a few do overlap, there is a spreadsheet with the overlaps on, under the Guides tab.

I personally always add a copy of the ESA award letter when applying for PIP.

Thanks Gary I submitted my application for PIP before I received my letter re the support group but understand you can submit further evidence, so will add to it
