Statement of entitlement serial number was created by louisagolding
I have just noticed my latest PIP statement of entitlement (issued this year) doesn't have a serial number like my last one (issued 2019). Is the serial number no longer needed? I will be changing my car soon so will need to change the tax of the new vehicle. Do I just show the statement without a serial number?

Hi lg,

You normally need to send the v5c along with your pip entitlement letter - it is usually then replied to within 6 weeks.
