Do I still keep my new style ESA payment on top of my newly awarded lcwra.

So do I loose or keep the approx £360 new style ESA in addition to th lcwra?

Thanks for any help

Hi Kendod66

NS ESA and UC are different benefits. You can claim both UC and NS ESA, when you apply for UC but your NS ESA will be deducted £ for £.

So the answer to you question is yes, you keep your NS ESA. Remember NS ESA is paid fortnightly whereas UC is paid monthly although there are exceptions.

That is incredible news and will make a huge difference for my quality of life.
Wow so I'll actually get the £400 extra for the lcwra as that's part of UC.
Thank you so much.
