Hi
I'm looking for some information regarding the migration from irESA to UC, I have a Tribunal Court order with my irEsa and trying to find out if this court order would be transferred from my irEsa account to my UC account as I have been informed by the DWP that irESA accounts are transferred to UC and it's just the name of the account is changed.???
Any advise would be welcome.
Thanks

Replied by Gary on topic ESA to UC Tribunal Court order transfer.
Hi Giggs

All claimants in receipt of IR ESA will be invited to apply for UC, with or without a court order, for claimants in receipt of of the support group should when applying for UC be placed in the LCWRA group and those placed in WRAG transferred to the LCW group.

IR ESA are not transferred to UC, claimants have to apply, those who fail to apply will loose their legacy benefits.

There was an article in the last B&W newsletter on ESA claimants.
