Budget was created by robert
Hello
I am worried about the recent budget. I heard it say that moblity issues are no longer considered a health problem and it is the reason why many are migrating to UC, including myself. I have scheurmanns disease and spinal fractures and need to use a walk frame. is this no longer considered a health problem and would i need a UC WCA? Would it also affect my PIP mobility component. I am pretty scared. not sure what to do. I received my IR ESA to UC migration notice 4 days ago. Thanks

Hi Robert

We cannot answer your question as we do not have enough information and we would advise you to contact you local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk

Your PIP is not affected when you migrate over to UC, if you are in the support group you should receive the LCWRA element, if you are not in the support group then you will need to hand in a fit note to start the assessment phase.
