I sent my pip review form last year november 2023. After one year last month I received a letter from DWP that my pip extended for one year. But now one month later I got text from health advisory service . They say we are managing your pip assessment. They say we will look at the available evidence and will contact with appointment if need consultation with you. . is this means i will have similar assessment like I have when awarded pip - does this mean they will contact me soon or it will take time? Could you please help Thanks
We can't tell you how long the process will take. The DWP have passed the form onto the health advisory service and they will decide what sort of assessment they will do. That could be paper-based, telephone or video or face-to-face. Telephone is the most common - but I can't say which is more likely for you - because it's personal to the individual. I don't know how long they are taking to go through this process - it could be in a couple of weeks - it could be much longer.
