I submitted a mandatory reconsideration for my Pip award (review) in early Oct 2024 following my award letter received in mid September. My review was due in June so I just wanted to check if my appeal is successful - at either this stage or at a tribunal stage - am I backdated to when my review was due in June or the date of when it was reviewed and awarded in September?
It won't be backdated to June - it should be September - but several members have been told the decision for how far to backdate is decided by the decision maker - and it has varied.
