Hi David,
I've tried reading it a few times now and I find it a bit too hard to follow. From what I understand so far the transitional protection will stay in place for about a year then 'erode' (slowly get reduced) to the point where I will be receiving substantially less on UC than I did before due to my severe disability premium being removed. No sure how I would manage without it as I was struggling with it so without it...oh gosh, not good. Plus I want to move out of the dangerous area I am currently in and rent will be higher when I do. Not sure where to go from here.

I would suggest if you rent from a social landlord such as a Housing Association that you ask for an appointment with their Financial Inclusion officer.
