Online or Paper Form? was created by randal_bond
Hi.

My partner will be applying for PIP. Which version would you recommend - online or paper? I always did paper one, and took my time do it again and again. I'm worried that with online version, if you make a mistake or forget something, you won't be able to change it.

Can you save the draft and come back to it as many times as you need before you send it?
Which form is historically less "not received", misplaced or not registered? Don't want to hear "we don't have any records of receiving it", like they often do in our GP surgery.

Thank you.

Hi rb,

I'm not sure as to whether you can do an actual online form completion because of fraud - I think it has to be written on paper, or typed up - however, I'm not 100% sure on this. Maybe someone can further elaborate?

Thank you, Chris. My partner was on the phone with DWA, and they gave him a link for online form by e-mail. So, it must be valid?

Hi rb, and BIS,

I wasn't aware of online links via email - so this is a new one on me. I'd be nervous about opening it, because of all the scams going on these days - it's hard to know what's legit and what's not. I recently got scammed myself for several hundred pounds from a legit looking website - which turned out to be a scam one selling sofas. My bank eventually re-imbursed me.

Chris.
