When you get your UC Managed Migration letter you could phone the Citizens Advice Help to Claim number which should be on page 2 of the letter. They have a contract with the DWP to provide the service and as such have channels of communication with DWP Decision Makers. You could ask Help to Claim to verify the disregard of your capital.
