Hi, I have a friend who applied for Pip in August this year, for the first time. She has had her assessment and understands from phoning up, she got enhanced mobility / and standard care, but is still awaitin* a letter. Will this be backdated to August? And also she was suffering from the same condition for some months prior to this, but was feeling too unwell to put in a claim, also she wasn’t even aware of pip at that time, is it possible to claim anything prior to the date of her claim, if she explains this?
