I posted on here in November saying I’d had a brutal review of my PIP award. I was on enhanced rate for both. When I opened my decision letter Christmas week, I had been downgraded massively. I’d already sent up for the medical report which was fairly accurate. But her marks for each section were totally wrong there were barefaced lies in them. She has basically said that I don’t see hospital consultants or my GP for treatment this is lies too. She has clearly mislead the DWP DM. In the DWP DM summary she makes continual reference to this. Over 20 times.
As this forum was closed for weeks I did my own MR request. It was very long. Has anyone got any advice they could give me? I was thinking of contacting my MP as my review was full of lies. Luckily I recorded it so I was able to hear what had been said. I am now as a result of her lies unable to pay for the stuff and help I need. I’m so angry and upset. It was Maximas btw. I have heard these companies get bonuses for getting claimants off their benefit. Is this true. Thank you

I'm sorry that your award has been downgraded. Well done for getting your MR in. I'm glad to hear that you have a recording of the assessment.
If you want to write to your MP, telling them of your experience, you should do so.
You may, however, want to complain to Maximus even while your MR is going through. I have dropped the link here haas.maximusuk.co.uk/feedback-and-complaints/
You could also complain to the DWP, but I expect them to tell you to complain to Maximus first.
I can't confirm anything about the type of contract Maximus has with the DWP.
