Hi sorry if this is a repeat of a previous question but i cant see what i thought I sent appearing on the forum or in my My topics section.
Ive got my review forms through and have managed to get an extension to 31st January. I’ve done what is recommended and kept a copy of my old forms, supplementary sheets and answers. I was hoping I could amend the answers and provide up to date medical evidence and this would enable a quicker turnaround of the forms. However the format of the questions seems very different to before. Each question seems to have 5 sections e.g. eating and drinking
Can you manage this activity safely, and without difficulty?
No, yes boxes
Do you need an aid
No, yes boxes
What aids do you use and how often
Do you need prompting?
No, yes boxes
What do they do for you and how often?
Do you need help from another person?
No, yes boxes
What help do you need and how often do you need it?

This (and especially the last two questions) means i cant really amend my previous answers and im not sure what they mean by the last one “please tell us why and when these needs began”.
I have various health issues and ive had some for years so it will be hard to break down the dates for all and each condition and what do they mean by why?
Also for preparing food there is an advice that says “if you dont cook please let us know how you would manage if you did” which is strange. Anyway not sure what to do would appreciate some advice.

Your previous question hadn't been answered, until today which is why you couldn't see it. Have you looked at the updated guide - as it covers the new style form? You can see from page 129 onwards benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
The question you ask is confusing, and there is advice in the guide about how you may answer it depending on your circumstances.
The cooking question is trying to see if you know how to manage cooking if you did it. I would say I can't imagine it, as I can't do it and leave it at that!

I had a look but it looked like the old style a few days ago. Thanks BIS I’ll take another look.
