Hope someone will feel good to read my small story
Haven't any words to say thanks for all Moderators who are sitting for us and helping day and night.
During these difficult times I thought I can share my story and someone feel strong to fight with DWP.
Apologize to everyone my English is not so good that I can express my feeling deeply, I won my award with the help of reading answer's all my Moderators while sitting back and never disturb any of them.
My PIP review start May 2024 when I send my form and receive text that my form been received after two week. From June 10th 2024 to 11th January 2025 were received normal texts. Eleven January 2025 received text that my PIP review complete and will received my letter in post coming two weeks.
I have been awarded six year for PIP enhanced both, but this is not the story?
Getting PIP is not easy especially when no help available and you don't know the native language. BUT as you all aware help is here in (BENEFITS and WORK) site everyday and every minutes.
Me, be a member of long time here and I will stay my rest of life, I had download latest PIP guide in Feb 2024 and start my journey. I take two month to understand in my own language with google translator this PIP guide book, not only this I always translated every Moderators answer and try to understand well.
Next two month, I written the answers sheets and I save in my computer (don't forget with the help of B&W).
When I filled my form I written down every little things what belong to my difficulties and has filled two to three A4 sheet with every activities, because I wasn't forget that every Moderators always advising us to show ours's full picture. I had send answer sheets 37 pages long with some extra information. Our colleagues who always worries that they haven't much medical evidences, I must tell you that most important is what you have written in the form and how much in details you has to written your difficulties. No wonder medical evidence is very important part of PIP but believe me if you have 100 pages most important evidences and you cannot show your movie then these evidences ever can't support your claim. These important lines I learned from all dears Moderators here in B&W with my own experience! May I could be wrong but I did this...
I sanded only 11 pages medical evidences with three most important incoming appointments and that's all?
Because of my last assessment experience I was ready this time and believe me after understanding everything in PIP guide I was very confident that I will get everything what I must have and now I have what I need.
Always try to answer in details as Moderators advising us always use extra sheet, do not forget to write every small difficulties what is not important for you. Try not to say good days because we are disable and we haven't any good days or good time like others and always focus on your difficulties. Be very confidant, if I can win without any help other than B&W you all can fight and win. I wish you all the best and please again when you fill your form just take few hours extra to read PIP guide here because this is your own language and I assure YOU WILL WIN.

Our Moderators are stars who shining day and night and shows us our best way in this dark path (PIP), again I have no words how can I say thanks may I can invited for beautiful dinner one day if they agreed? ( I will wait for everyone).

Hi anees292

Many congratulations on your enhanced PIP award. Give yourself a huge pat on the back. I know this was a struggle for you, but you did so well, and you kept at it, even when it was getting you down, and you worried that you didn't have the skills. Well, you did. You read so much, you subscribed to stuff, you asked us questions, and you asked again if you didn't understand, and most importantly, you never gave up. Not everyone can do what you did and you should be rightly proud of your achievement.

Thank you for taking the time to encourage other members by telling them about your journey. It's always useful for others to read and be inspired when they are on their journey.

And thank you for your compliments to B&W and all the mods. We're glad we could play a small part in your success - but never take away from the fact - You did it! All the mods are delighted for you. (And don't worry about your English - it is fine and your feelings and experiences are clear to all!)
