I've been so nervous about this move to UC from ESA but finally applied last week ahead of my 2nd Feb deadline and the stress has triggered my Lupus so bad that on Saturday last my knees suddenly swelled to double in size and I can hardly get to the loo let alone to a job centre on Friday. They cancelled the biographical telephone call 15 minutes before it was supposed to happen. What do I do? What do I write in the journal entry? Currently on hold to GP to get an appointment to get the problem on record. Do I ask for a sick note? Any help gratefully received. Should I text the Citizens Advice Help to Claim Service?
There could be many reasons why your Biographical Test to verify your ID was cancelled. A UC Biographical Test needs the interaction of agents at 2 different offices and also for IT systems to be working. So may be there was an issue in one of those areas. I think it would be a good idea to get some advice from Citizens Advice Help to Claim and let them contact the DWP for you.
Let me know how you get on. David
