ESA changeover UC migration was created by tetra_legend
I have started my transition to UC from CB & IR ESA. The UC online part was straightforward,
However i then received a letter from jobcentre plus to attend interview to get back to work etc, this I received a day after the appointment date.
I phoned 3 numbers and spoke to someone to say i needed a new appointment & would like it via phone,
as difficult to attend & also i was in support group so should not have to attend for work related etc.
I was told i would be contacted within 3 hours this was late friday or today Monday, i received no contact but i then received further letter for new appointment on 6th feb,
i telephoned again and spoke to a different advisor and explained i hadn't been contacted & i would like the interview via phone as i was in support group etc, he was helpful & assured me that this would be sent to the relevant department but now i'm in limbo to see what happens.
Can i do anything about this online in my UC account? or should i wait to see what happens, i am worried about missing appointments as i have missed 1 already, even though it arrived late thanks for any advice

Hi tetra_legend
I would not worry about missing Work Coach appointments as they cannot sanction someone who is in the Support/LCWRA group. Keep an eye on your To Do's in the UC account though.
Hope this helps.

Hi David,
Thanks for the reply, i did not know about them not being able to sanction support group so that's a big relief, i keep checking my UC account regularly but no msgs, still waiting few days til they tell me my initial calculation.
Seems as i was told over the phone that UC and ESA are not able to work admin side with each other as they are seperately administered benefits which makes contacting JC a pain, guess i'll hang tight & see what happens.
Thanks
