DLA to PIP as a pensioner was created by lix70
I am in receipt of higher mobility and middle care DLA. Because of worsening health, I need higher care to pay for more help. I am 70 so shall I still get DLA/PIP?

Hi lix70

I'm sorry that you have asked this question and not had an answer. I was hoping someone else might answer it because I don't know. I thought originally that if you were on DLA and even if you were on State Pension Age you would still get moved onto PIP - but since they halted the transfers I don't know what is happening and I can't find anything on it. I'm afraid the only thing you can do is either ask a specialist welfare advisor in your area advicelocal.uk/ or ring the DWP and ask.
