ESA to UC migration was created by tony.kenna@outlook.com
Just received ESA to UC migration letter. I have no support and will struggle with the process. Can I get f2f help from citizens advice?
I’m terrified and will not be able to go to JC to show ID or sign anything due to MH and mobility problems. Can this be done online or by phone?
Also, I have no passport or driving licence so not sure what ID they would want to see. I’ve been receiving ESA for years so don’t understand why they need to do ID check. They should have transferred everyone automatically but wat to save money and make the process as difficult as possible.
Finally, anyone know his to continue getting council tax discount and if the 3 weeks no money will be backdated in first IC payment. I can’t go this alone and will need advice and help doing the online stuff.

Firstly if the above is your email address please will you change your Forum user name for online security reasons.
I think as you suggest you will need some face to face advice. I would phone the Citizens Advice Help to Claim number and ask if they can put you in touch with a local Citizens Advice Agency which can give you personal assistance.
Here are the contact details.
