So following on from my previous post the other day, following my telephone assessment in February the decision letter arrived today. I've been awarded enhanced for both components, an increase from standard for daily living. So its good news there and many thanks to all at B&W for all their guides and assistance.
I did get backdated monies due to my increased award and my award runs from 2024 to 2028 which is better than the 2 years my PA4 stated. I waited a year for my review which is the longest yet. So clearly there are issues at the DWP.
I'm still wondering if its worth challenging the award length though as its very wearing having to go through this every 2-3 years.
If you want to challenge the award length - make it very clear in your letter that you are satisfied with the award. You do not want them to decide to review your award again.
