The N.I number is simply to relate paperwork back to the claimant, but I can see you mentioned online. Unfortunately I've never done an online assessment, so I unsure if there is a limit on characters for you to type. I'll have to leave this one to someone else to answer - there is an overwhelming amount of questions coming in on the forum at the moment, so it's very hard to keep track of every single question someone asks, and also to have the time to re-read every post - this isn't always possible, especially when we give up our own free time to help people.
