Hello, Has anyone any advice on what happens if PIP is withdrawn after a review. I’ve just submitted my review paper work today as my PIP ends in November 2025. I know they will keep issuing payments until the review is complete but my question is
1. If DWP decide to stop my PIP will I have to payback the money given from the time I submitted my review paperwork or are my payments safe until my November 2025 end date.
2. If they do stop my PIP will I be expected to pay it back on one go? I’m reliant on this money at the moment due to my conditions.
Hopefully my PIP will be renewed but with all that’s going on it’s a worrying and concerning time. Any assistance appreciated.
If your PIP is withdrawn after a review - they will give you a date when the payments will be stopped. The date is usually within a week or two weeks of the date on the letter. You certainly won't be asked to pay back money from the time you submitted your review paperwork.
