I only listed health conditions for managed migration but i am in the support group. Don’t know if that makes a difference. I did ask UC help to claim and Citizens advice as my conditions are mainly monitored with Consultants. Neither really knew. Online verification has gone smooth so far for UC and a phone call soon for verification for ESA cb. Hope this helps.

I also assumed it meant 'therapies' as opposed to 'medication'.
For example I'm having regular management for Lymphoedema at an outpatient clinic and I've also just finished a stint of Cardiac Rehab and I listed both of those, while I didn't list any of the 20 or so medications I take on a daily basis.

latetrain isn't filling out a UC50 form, but an ESA to UC migration form. The B&W Successful ESA to UC Managed Migration guide (May 2025) advises (at page 18) that this question is one of those on the form, but gives no clue as to how the claimant's expected to interpret the term "medical treatments".

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum. Don't forget to check out our guide to help you complete the UC50 form: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/?dlp=67fec23b3b73f. On page 7 of the UC50 form you can list all your medications, don't forget to also list any side effects you get from taking the medication.

I have just read B&W ESA to UC Managed Migration guide which states the following:
Will you have to explain how your health conditions affect you on the form?
No, the form is not like an ESA50 form to explain how your health affects your everyday activities. The questions you will be asked about your health on the claim form are:
• Do you have any illnesses, disabilities or ongoing health conditions? This is a yes/no tick box question
• Tell us the conditions you have – you simply need to list the names of any medical conditions/health problems/disabilities – one per box
• Has your doctor said that you might have less than 12 months to live due to any of your conditions? If you tick yes, you will be asked if you want the DWP to call you in relation to extra support needs. If you tick no or I don’t know, you will be moved to the next question.
• Do any of your conditions restrict your ability to look for work? Yes/no
• Are you currently receiving ESA? Yes/no – the answer will be yes if you are receiving ESA on the day that you are completing the form. This means ESA of any type, including irESA, contribution-based ESA, New-Style ESA or credits-only ESA.
• If you are pregnant, does your health put you or your unborn child at risk? Not applicable/yes/no.
• Are you currently in or expecting to go into hospital for more than 24 hours? You will be asked for your discharge date if you know it.
• Are you receiving, recovering from or expecting to receive any medical treatments? If yes, you will be asked for the name of the treatment and the start date.

Ecco's question is how to interpret the term "medical treatments" when filing in the form. The B&W guide doesn't say.
