Hi David
I would like to ask your advice, i received the letter more than a month ago regarding the move from CB to New Style ESA and that I will be advised of an appointment to accept Claimant commitment. So far I have not been advised of any appointment, should I be concerned? My ESA was both IR and CB.
Messaged work coach on my UC journal to mention I am in the support group and request a phone appointment.
A friend of mine did their migration to UC in mid May about 2 weeks after me, and they have already had the phone appointment to accept New Style ESA but I am still waiting and stressed out!
I know the appointment seems to be a short phone call and is very straight forward as I have read from other posts.
Kind regards

Hi tlondon

When you apply for UC you need to keep your eye on the "to do list" Tab that is where you are notified of appointments.

Most claimants, whose claim gets cancelled is due to not checking their "to do list" tab.

As you were in the support group you should be placed in the LCWRA group without having to provide a "fit note"

From reading your post you have done all that you can, I would add another note to your journal that you are still waiting for your appointment, I would also contact UC helpline: 0800 328 5644/5646/9344.

Hi thanks for the reply.
I did the managed migration from ESA support group at the end of April and had my first UC payment end of May, it all went OK and payments correct but then received the letter about the change from CB ESA to New Style ESA which mentioned the appointment in the future to accept Claimant commitment, but I have not heard anything back as yet. I note that other people who have been in the same situation have already had their appointment to accept the New Style ESA 'Claimant Commitment' over the phone even though they migrated a few weeks later than I did, so I am anxious and stressed.

Hi tlondon

For New Style ESA you need to accept a Claimant Commitment. Have you been getting fortnightly payments of NS ESA?
