Hi, does anyone know what is going to happen to contribution based ESA? Will it stay the same or migrate to another benefit?

Hi Lulu
Claimants in receipt of CB ESA will migrate over to NS ESA, they are both contribution based benefits and have the same criteria to be eligible. The only difference with the benefits is the name.

Do you have any idea of when this migration from CB ESA to NS ESA will happen? Nobody ever mentions it.

I am not sure when CB ESA claimants will be moved on to NS ESA as there is no difference in the regs apart from the name. Those claimants receiving both IR and CB ESA have or are being moved over to NS ESA.
