DWP sending out letters on my husbands and my private pension

i am not a mod on here but here how it works for me. if your pension is over £85 a week tey will halve the amount above the 85 quid and deduct it from your esa payment, doesnt matter if you are in contribution group, i am myself, once my pension went above £85 a week they halved the amount above 85 quid, i am having about a tenner removed each week' and i am in support group, i dont know why they want your husbands pension details unless he is on benefits.

They may be checking to see if they may be eligible to claim Guarantee Pension Credit.

Thank you for your answer. I spoke to the DWP and they said that I shouldn’t have to pay anything , so even more confused and my latest letter dated 3 October said no income to come off my claim. They also said the DWP collects data this time of year. God only knows 😡
