It really varies. Some arrive up to a year before, some six months before and I know of several people whose forms arrived with only a month to go.

If it helps my PIP is up for review mid June 2026 and I received a text yesterday from the DWP stating “the review of your PIP has started and we are sending you a PIP review form”, so eight months before.
