I am seeing this again and again. And I have experienced it. You are blocked from doing something. And even blocked from complaining about the block. If you are seeing this and you want dWP complaints to be accepted through a proper complaint process please sign the petition and asked others to sign it. If you never sign it - it will not grow.

Introduce a statutory duty to track and provide notifications for DWP complaints

We want the UK Government to introduce a statutory duty requiring the DWP to notify claimants about their complaint digitally or by letter at every stage including opened, escalated, or changed, and to legally prohibit closure of any complaint without a claimant's explicit, recorded consent.

We think the current DWP complaints system lacks transparency and has poor tracking. Claimants often have no formal record when a complaint is made, making it difficult to get a fair resolution. Not only is MPs' time taken up with complaint administration to the DWP, the DWP must spend time updating claimants as to the progress of a complaint. We believe accessible complaints will address serious concerns from coroners, safeguarding bodies, human rights, and disability organisations - who protect rights and lives.
