Hi, I have my universal credit review phone call appointment with my coach on the 11th December 11am. It says the call be 30 mins. Does anyone know what they ask you? I have already sent them 4 months bank statement and my rental agreement. Is the call like a assessment?

Hi pickles75

If you check out the guides, there is a section on questions you may be asked, unfortunately we cannot tell you as it depends on your circumstances.

Good luck.

With my review they were interested in how much savings we had. If you are under £6000 of savings they won't you about that. If you are over £6000 and have not declared the correct amount if over they will asked what is accounting for the money. With my review they didn't ask about anything else over the phone. Your circumstances could be different and get different questions asked.

I had a UC review in June last year - they will ask you questions regarding individual payments, what is this payment for? Whose is this account that this payment gos into etc (I had to explain that I transferred money to my mum for picking up bits of shopping etc!). I can't remember if they asked anything else - but it's all to do with whether your circumstances have changed and they want to make sure any savings you might have aren't over the threshold (I think it's still £6,000)

Hi AMK81

For people near the savings thresholds of £6000 and £16000 they will be looking at expenditure and if there was intent to reduce savings in order to increase Benefits.
