Thanks for bringing this up. I have a similar problem. My award has been extended 2 years which takes the end date a few months into my retirement. I usually have a review 5 months after they send me the paperwork. This date would be 3 months prior to me retiring. Will they treat me as pre- retired or retired? Thanks for any help offered.
As your review will be started before State Pension Age it will be your usual type of review. But keep an eye on the BenefitsandWork news section as the new PM may make changes to Benefits.
