PIP assessment report was created by Sarah33
Hi, My PIP review was recently completed by paper based assessment. It was done by a DWP case manager and never went to an assessment provider. I maintained my exact previous award and exactly the same points for each descriptor. I would usually ask for the PA4 report after a PIP review to keep for my records, but in this case I'm guessing there won't be one? Do I still ask the DWP to send me whatever is available or will there not be anything? Thank you

Hi Sarah33
I'm glad to hear that your award has continued. Unfortunately, they no longer write any sort of report for the paper-based assessments. I know of one person who made a SAR (Subject Access Request) to try to get any notes used in compiling their paper-based decision, but I don't know whether they ever received anything.

The DWP Case manager should have compiled a report which will be entered on the case notes on your PIP account.
I submitted a SAR - now called a RAR - Right of Access Request - after my last PIP assessment and received a copy of everything held on the PIP system about me. The DWP Case Manager had conduced a paper assessment and included numerous notes about each activity and which points applied to me and justification of the points. It also included a justification about the length of award.
