  			 				Hi All,

Just to let you know that for the next week we will be again down on moderators who are qualified benefits advisers.

Pete was rushed into hospital two days ago with what we believe is a stroke, so will be off long term. Steve Donnison is away for a week, and as I'm just recently out of hospital, with strict orders to rest as much as possible, I won't be able to post much this week either. Mr B hasn't been in the forums for several weeks, and after being so busy over the last few weeks, my wife Pat is also in need of a rest.

This leaves us in the position that Crazydiamond is the only qualified benefits moderator online and he also has business to attend to this week.

Inevitably, this means that although there are a couple of other moderators who can pre-moderate posts, they most likely will be unable to deal with benefits queries, so expect long delays if you post a query in this forum.

Also, can I again remind members that we cannot deal with individual queries on benefits Despite Steve putting up a FAQ some members are continuing to post in-depth queries which we cannot deal with.

Again, for a number of months, we have requested that members use the 'Forum Search' facility before posting a query, but again some members are ignoring our request. This facility was set up to provide answers, as we tend to have similar questions asked regularly, so please try it out and see for yourself.

Finally, a reminder that the forums are not part of your membership, they are provided as a courtesy and manned by voluntary moderators all of whom have either chronic illness and/or disability themselves.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding and help us to help you.

  			 				Hi Kookie,

Sorry but the PM system stopped working when the forum software was upgraded recently. Our Tech Support and Webmaster are aware of the problem
and we hope that it will be back in operation soon.

Until then, if any member really needs to contact a moderator or other member,
if they e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. they can forward it by e-mail.

The PM system is very useful, so lets hope the problem can be resolved soon.

Kind regards.

Jim
